You will create a 4-7 minute performance/event which is a Ritual in 10 Steps.
These 10 steps, which happen in a specific order, can include:
- Language (storytelling, incantations, song, pieces of found text, lies, confessions)
- Physical Actions (extracted from your own life, or from others; improvisational or planned; metaphoric or mythical or very direct)
- Interaction with or Placement of Objects that inform the ritual space
- Audience Engagement
The performance stands on its own. You don’t need to ever tell us what this is meant to be a ritual for or why.
